Swan is the second of the 4 Alexander’s paintings of the series “Children and Birds”, along with “Toocan”, “Parrot” and “Peacock”. The series is meant to awoke feelings of hope, love, and joy of living. Alexander Kanevsky’s “Red People” (1998, 122 x 122 cm, oil on wood) now is a part of Alexander’s Grand American Collection.
